Ohhhh, spring is starting to sprout a bit. The temperature is rising and all is good. Spring fever has kicked in. The fever is downright piping hot and spreading for many. And there’s nothing like a spring bike ride to kick daydreams of the season into full-swing gear.
Shrewsbury resident and former longtime Pour House, Main Street USA, Sitting Duck and Grist Mill owner, Robert “Bob” Gerald Horsman, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 7, at his home. He was 91.
Longtime Little Silver resident, Ronald Lawrence Lotozo, passed away peacefully on April 5. He was 84.

Fair Haven-raised Michelle “Chelly” Rago passed away on April 1 at Monmouth Medical Center, where she was born on March 11, 1971. She was 55.
Longtime Rumsonite, Patricia “Pat” Ann Doherty McMahon, passed peacefully in her home of more than 50 years while surrounded by her children. She was 91.
Monmouth Beach resident, Maria H. Zifchak, formerly of Fair Haven and Rumson, “a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love and a life defined by devotion to her family.” She was 86.
The following March arrests were reported by Rumson police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.
