Police Report: Theft, Drugs, Assault, Major Art Theft, Defiant Trespass, Terroristic Threats, Criminal Mischief, Lewdness

The following June criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Red Bank police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

Criminal Incidents

• An incident of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle in the area of Monmouth Street was reported on June 30. The owner reported that someone on an E-Bike struck the side mirror of the vehicle.

Patrolman Eliot Ramos took the report.

• The theft of three paintings, valued at $2,0000 to $3,000 each, from the area of Branch Avenue was reported on June 24.

Patrolman Taylor Doremus took the report.

• A theft of services, cab fare of $266, in the area of Leroy Place was reported on June 18. An employee of a cab company reported that an unknown person did not pay the fare.

Patrolman Jeffrey Lewandowski took the report.

• The theft of a brown bi-fold wallet containing $3,000 in cash, three debit/credit cards, one business credit card and a NJ driver’s license, from the area of Shrewsbury Avenue was reported on June 15.

Patrolman Christian Nelson took the report.

• The theft of handicap placard from a vehicle in the area of Monmouth Street was reported on June 13.

Patrolman James McGee took the report.

• An incident of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle in the area of W. Front Street was reported on June 6. The vehicle owner reported the driver’s side door handle, valued at $1,000, was damaged.

Patrolman Preston Mellaci took the report.

• The theft of a black Elite BMX Freestyle bike, valued at $297, from the front of a W. Bergen Place residence was reported on June 3.

Arrests

• Mauricio Cervantes-Mesa, 40, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Monmouth Street on June 30 and charged with taking by means of conveyance and hindering apprehension by Patrolman Tanner Shea.

• Rogger Sanchez, 48, of Freehold, was arrested the area of W. Front Street on June 29 and charged with contempt and possession of prescription legend drugs by Patrolman Preston Mellaci.

• Rogger Sanchez, 48, of Freehold, was arrested in the area of W. Front Street on June 27 and charged with simple assault by Patrolman Darren McConnell.

• Oscar Osorio, 40, of Atlantic Highlands, was arrested in the area of Monmouth Street on June 22 and charged with disorderly conduct by Patrolman Frank Metta.

• Kevin Lawrence, 47, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on June 16 and charged with disorderly conduct by Patrolman Preston Mellaci.

• David Foggy, 55, of Keansburg, was arrested in the area of N. Bridge Avenue on June 16 and charged with shoplifting and defiant trespass by Patrolman Carmine Pannullo.

• Ramiro Martinez-Ramirez, 37, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Earle Street on June 14 and charged with making terroristic threats by Patrolman Froilan Hernandez.

• Dalvin Andrews, 33, of Long Branch, was arrested in the area of Leighton Avenue on June 13 and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia by Patrolman Christopher Fuentes.

• Kevin McNamara, 50, of Asbury Park, was arrested in the area of Leighton Avenue on June 13 and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia by Patrolman Christopher Fuentes.

• Leon Norman, 41, of Tinton Falls, was arrested in the area of McLaren Street on June 12 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) and obstructing administration of the law by Patrolman Christian Nelson.

• Martin Geller, 63, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Rector Place on June 7 and charged with defiant trespass by Patrolman Grace Maggiulli.

• Estebes Lopez-Ortiz, 34, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of South Street on June 6 and charged with criminal mischief by Patrolman Luke Cahill.

• Michael Godard, 39, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of N. Bridge Avenue on June 6 and charged with driving while suspended and contempt of court by Patrolman Preston Mellaci.

• Esther Anglade, 43, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of N. Bridge Avenue on June 5 and charged with driving while suspended by Patrolman Preston Mellaci.

• Jason Freeman, 46, of Keyport, was arrested in the area of N. Bridge Avenue on June 5 and charged with defiant trespass by Patrolman Carmine Pannullo.

• James Mayorga, 32, of Freehold, was arrested in the area of Monmouth Street on June 5 and charged with defiant trespass by Patrolman Grace Maggiulli.

• Edward Perez-Ortega, 59, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of W. Front Street on June 5 and charged with lewdness by Patrolman Tanner Shea.

• Michael Luna-Santamaria, 28, of Tinton Falls, was arrested in the area of Leighton Avenue on June 4 and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) and possession of drug paraphernalia by Patrolman Christopher Fuentes.
