Red Bank-raised longtime Monmouth County resident, Jim Beardsley, passed away on Friday, July 19.

Jim spent his childhood in Red Bank. He attended Rumson Country Day School, St. George’s School, in RI, and Princeton University. Jim and his wife, Jennifer, raised their family in Monmouth County.

Area journalist, editor and mentor, Jody Calendar, passed away peacefully on July 14 in Holmdel. She was 74.

In the previous weeks, Jody had the chance to say goodbye to her beloved family members, many devoted friends, and past co-workers in journalism and education.
