Common Sense, the national nonprofit organization dedicated to helping kids and families thrive in a world of media and technology, has again recognized Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School (RFH) as a Common Sense School.
Spring is in the air and all good RFHers are thinking about the game — the baseball game. The sun is out, the birds are chirping and bats are swinging — baseball bats, that is.
Well, it’s “another opening, another show” for those RFH Tower Players.
The high school’s theatrical troupe has opened its spring musical production of Spamalot this past weekend to rave reviews. And another weekend of shows is in store for adoring RFH Tower Players fans.
Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School (RFH) Social Studies teacher and advisor, Matthew Leddin, has been named the high school’s Educator of the Year.
Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School’s (RFH’s) Sue Wankel has been honored as the recipient of the Central Jersey Administrative Assistant Award for Excellence by the Directors of Athletics Association of New Jersey (DAANJ).
Well, the sun came out and dried up all the rain, and snow, and wintery yuck yesterday.
And when the sun comes out, it’s always been a rite of passage for RFHers to get outside. No, we’re not talking about cutting class. We’re just saying that when the sun calls after a stretch of yuck, RFH students have always answered with at least a trip to the front, side, or back of the high school — or Piping Rock Park … or the old Campus Luncheonette.
In light of Sunday’s Rumson St. Patrick’s Day Parade, we are reprising this popular Retro Pic of the Day, originally posted on Feb. 28, 2022. There was an Irish Sweater Club marching with a host of mini sweater wearers on the parade route. But, back in the day …
Well, St. Patrick’s Day is looming. Considering the Irish festivities that have abounded lately in the spirit of the day, thoughts turn back to a club that took the chill out of the winter’s gala holiday — the RFH Irish Sweater Society of 1980.
Former longtime Rumsonite and Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School (RFH) graduate, Marianne Cermak Williams, more recently of Eatontown, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. She was 76.
It’s a date! The RFH Tower Players never really had to make a date to play. But they have always needed to make a date for a production — like the fall show or spring musical.
