In Memoriam: RFH Grad Susan Levy Tudor

Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School (RFH) graduate Susan F. Levy Tudor passed away on Sunday, March 19, at home, surrounded by her loved ones.

After graduating from RFH, Susan went on to earn her master’s degree in Teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) from Georgetown University.

“Susan moved to Spain for several years, teaching English and exploring Europe. Upon returning, Susan moved into selling financial products for Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance, where she won multiple awards for sales leadership. She always felt that her teaching approach helped her clients better understand the products, and made her successful. Susan was extremely involved with the local yoga community. She became an advanced certified yoga instructor and taught at many local studios. Upon moving to the Thornbrooke retirement community in Shrewsbury, Susan organized a heavily attended  free weekly class for her neighbors.

“Susan was a loving mother to Brenna and Jeremy, and a wonderful wife to husband Barry. Since Jeremy, who predeceased Susan, was born with special needs, Susan became very involved in organizations devoted to other children with special needs, especially Family Resource Associates (Red Bank) and Children’s Specialized Hospital (New Brunswick). Susan started a successful yoga program at FRA and coordinated with staff to provide needed gifts and clothing for children every holiday season for the
children living at CSH.”
