Prosecutor: Area Woman Charged with $80K Credit Card Fraud Theft from Former Employer

An area woman has been charged with theft by unlawful taking stemming from her alleged fraudulent use of her former employer’s company-issued business credit card to purchase $80,000 worth of merchandise for her own personal use, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago announced on Monday.

Police Report: Burglary, Theft, Receiving Stolen Property, Harassment, DUI, Disorderly

The following August arrests were reported by Middletown police. During the month of August, Middletown police answered 4,604 calls, among which were 366 first aid calls, 34 fire calls, 194 accidents, and 17 domestic violence. Eight arrests were made solely on outstanding contempt of court warrants. No dates for each arrest were included in this police report. Shoplifting (with no merchandise value included by police) and contempt of court arrests were excluded. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.
