Former longtime Sea Bright resident and teacher, Rosemary Louise Walters, of Monmouth Beach, passed away peacefully at home on the morning of May 4 with her trusted aide, Annette Ramsey, and close friend and assistant, Tracy Thompson, by her side. She was 90.

Prosecutor: Former Cop Gets 17 Years for 2021 Vehicular Homicide, DUI

A former police officer has been sentenced to 17 years in state prison on vehicular homicide charges stemming from a fatal motor vehicle collision that killed a husband and wife in 2021, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago announced on Thursday.

In Memoriam: Fair Haven-Raised RFH ’72 Grad, Former Policeman, Fireman, Mike Raleigh, 72

Fair Haven-raised Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School (RFH) graduate and former borough policeman and fireman, Mike Raleigh, passed away after a battle with cancer on May 11 in Stuart, FL, where he had been more recently living. He was 72.
