Arresting News: Assault, DWI, Disorderly

The following arrests were made recently by Red Bank police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

• Donald Laing, 32, of Red Bank, was arrested on May 6 by Patrolman Nicholas Maletto in the area of Spring Street and charged with simple assault and contempt of court.

• Rojelio Cervante-Martinez, 30, of Red Bank, was arrested on May 5 in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue and charged with simple assault and harassment by Patrolman Jorge Torres.

• Rickie Taddio, 48, of Holmdel, was arrested on May 3 in the area of White Street and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman George Travostino.

• Porfirio Perez-Rosas, 26, of Red Bank, was arrested on May 2 in the area of Bridge Avenue and charged with harassment by Patrolman John Camarca.

• Luis Urquizo, 47, of North Plainfield, was arrested on May 2 in the area of Mohawk Lane and charged with disorderly conduct by Patrolman Thomas Doremus.

• Kevin Mallory, 29, of Red Bank, was arrested by Patrolman Thomas Doremus on May 1 in the area of Monmouth Street on a contempt of court charge.

• Michael Stanislawczyk, 20, of Highlands, was arrested by Patrolman Matthew Ehrenreicht in the area of Coopers Bridge on May 4 on a contempt of court charge.

• Jose Chicas-Santos, 54, of Red Bank, was arrested by Patrolman John Camarca on May 1 in the area of Chestnut Street on a contempt of court charge.

• Terance Whelan, 33, of Nashville, TN was arrested May 6 on Monmouth Street on a contempt of court charge by Patrolman Sean Hauschildt.

• Jesse Butynski, 24, of Red Bank, was arrested by Patrolman Benjamin Springer on April 30 in the area of Maple Avenue on a contempt of court charge.

• Oscare Ciriaco-Molina, 27, of Red Bank, was arrested by Sgt. Juan Sardo on April 30 in the area of Monmouth Street on a contempt of court charge.

Rumson Police Beat: Teen Party, Tax Fraud, DUI, Theft, Burglary

The following recent criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Rumson police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

•  A Bingham Avenue resident reported on April 9 a fraudulent tax return filed with her personal information.

The incident will be forwarded to the I.R.S. fraud department.

• A Lafayette Street resident reported on April 12 that his vehicle was vandalized by numerous eggs being thrown at it sometime during the night.

Patrolman Bryan Dougherty took the report.

• A West River Road resident reported on April 14 that there was a burglary at their home. Bicycles and surfboards were removed from the garage.

Patrolman Gaynor took the report.

•  A Rumson Road resident reported on April 16 that a fraudulent tax return had been filed with her personal information. The incident will be forwarded to the I.R.S. fraud department.

Patrolman Lovgren took the report.

• A Little Silver resident reported on April 16 that her purse was stolen from her vehicle while at Meadowridge Park. A credit card was subsequently used at a store in Middletown.

Detective Christopher Isherwood investigated.

• Lea Brantly, 30, of Rumson, was arrested on April 18 on Hartshorne Lane and charged with driving under the influence (DUI) by Patrolman Campanella.

Brantly was released pending a municipal court date.

• A Bingham Hill Circle resident reported a burglary at her home. Entry was gained by breaking a door window. The resident reported jewelry missing.

Sgt. Koenig and Special Officer Leahy took the report. The incident was referred to the detectives.

• A Mays Landing resident reported on April 21 that his cement mixer was stolen from a construction site on Shrewsbury Avenue.

Patrolman Schneider took the report.

• Carl Bergen, 53, of Red Bank, was arrested on April 21 at headquarters on charges of numerous counts of burglary, theft and credit card fraud by Detective Christopher Isherwood.

Bergen was released pending court.

• Headquarters received a report on April 25 of a large party at a Clover Lane address with possible underage alcohol consumption. Patrolmen Fenn and Dougherty responded and were assisted by officers from Sea Bright, Fair Haven and Little Silver.

Patrolman Bryan Dougherty took the report.

Contempt of court

Paul Dougherty, 50, of Belmar, was arrested April 3 on West River Road on a contempt of court charge by Ptl. Lovgren.

Dougherty was released to Belmar Police.
• Victoria Hayes, 41, of Union Beach, was arrested April 6 on Bingham Avenue on a contempt of court charge by Special Officer Berger.

Hayes was released after posting $350 bail.

• Trevor Eyerkuss, 25, of Little Silver, was arrested on April 20 at headquarters on a contempt of court charge by Special Officer Morse.

Eyerkuss was released after posting $300 bail.

Arresting News: Prostitution, Cocaine, Marijuana Possession, Dealing & More

The following recent arrests were made by Red Bank police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction. 

• Esperanza Avendano-Morales, 47, of Freehold, was arrested on April 28 in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue and charged with engaging in prostitution and contempt of court.

Patrolman Sean Hauschildt made the arrest.

• Edwin Ventura-Egochega, 41, of Staten Island, NY, was arrested on April 28 in the area of Locust Avenue and charged with promoting prostitution and contempt of court.

Patrolman Jhonatan Quispe made the arrest.

• Oscar Ciriaco-Molina, 27, of Red Bank, was arrested on April 30 in the area of Monmouth Street and charged with hindering apprehension and contempt of court.

Lt. Errico Vescio made the arrest.

• Alfredo Hernandez-Codero, 38, of Red Bank, was arrested on April 26 in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest by Patrolman Cevin Albert.

• Veirick Kirlew, 26, of Red Bank, was arrested on April 24 in the area of Newman Springs Road and charged with possession of a CDS, Ecstasy, possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of a CDS with intent to distribute by Patrolman Benjamin Springer.

• Pepita Gadson, 22, of Red Bank, was arrested on April 23 in the area of Montgomery Terrace and charged with terroristic threats by Patrolman Jhonatan Quispe.

• Zachary Roslin, 23, of West Palm Beach, FL, was arrested on April 23 in the area of Bridge Avenue and charged with possession of a CDS (cocaine), and possession of of under 50 grams of marijuana by Patrolman Sean Hauschildt.

• Alvin Ross, 25, of Eatontown, was arrested on April 25 in the area on Monmouth Street on a contempt of court charge by Patrolman Gary Watson.

• Maximo Sanchez-Gonzales, 18, of Red Bank, was arrested on April 29 in the area of Bridge Avenue on a contempt of court charge by Patrolman Shane Dengel.

• Leanni Munoz, 28, of Red Bank, was arrested on April 29 in the area of Monmouth Street on a contempt of court charge by Sgt. Juan Sardo.

 

Arresting News: Contempt, Non-Support

The following arrests on contempt of court charges were reported by the Middletown police.

• Daniel Hayes, 32, of Johnson Avenue in Matawan, was arrested on April 19 by Patrolman Charles Higgins on a contempt of court warrant issued by the Middletown Municipal Court and on a non-support warrant issued by the Monmouth County Superior Court.

He was held pending a court date.

• Jesse Ballard, 24, of Birchwood Lane in Middletown, was arrested on April 20 by Patrolman Jason Andrews on a contempt of court warrant issued by the Middletown Municipal Court.

He was held on $258.00 bail.

• Kevin Finnegan, 54, of Walter Street in Keansburg, was arrested on April 19 by Patrolman Jason Andrews on a contempt of court warrant issued by the Middletown Municipal Court.

He was held on $1,000 bail.

• Robert Difortuna, 35, of Normandy Court in Middletown, was arrested on April 20 by Patrolman John Soltysik on a contempt of court warrant issued by the West Long Branch Municipal Court.

He was released after posting $500 bail.

Stacy Milanes, 27, of South Hope Chapel Road in Jackson, was arrested on April 20 by Patrolman Ricardo Cruz on a contempt of court warrant issued by the Middletown Municipal Court.

She was released after posting $250 bail.

• Jose Padro, 18, of 7th Avenue in Long Branch, was arrested on April 22 by Patrolman Joshua Midose on a contempt of court warrant issued by the Eatontown Municipal Court.

He was released after posting $200 bail.

Police Report Contempt, Probation Violation

The following recent arrests on contempt of court and violation of probation charges were reported by Middletown police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

• James Georgianna, 23, of Port Monmouth Road in Middletown, was arrested on April 14 by Patrolman Stephen Greenwood of the Anti-Crime Unit on a contempt of court warrant issued by the Middletown Municipal Court.

He was held on $4,416 bail.

Arresting News: Heroin Possession, Vehicular Assault, DWIs, Stalking & More

The following recent arrests were reported by the Middletown police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

• Matthew Carscadden, 35, of Windswept Road in Holmdel, was arrested on April 6 by Patrolman Thomas Foster and charged with  DWI (driving while intoxicated) and leaving the scene of an accident with injuries.

He was held on $5,000 bail, set by Judge Richard Thompson.

• Robert Kolb, 47, of Route 36 in the Port Monmouth section of Middletown, was arrested on April 7 by Cpl. James Keenan and charged with simple assault.

He was held on $2,500 bail.

• On April 7, Cpl. James Keenan arrested a 15-year-old female juvenile and charged her with obstructing the administration of law.

She was released pending a court date.

Fair Haven Police Report: DWI, Fraud, Assault, Hit & Run & More

The following incidents and arrests in the month of March were reported by the Fair Haven police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

• A River Road resident reported on March 3 that an unknown person had used her name to obtain and use a PayPal credit card. A fraud report was filed by Patrolman Christian Hostrup to dispute the charges.

• Jordan Rivera, 24, Red Bank was arrested on March 5 and charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and received traffic citations for reckless driving and improper passing following a traffic stop.

Lt. Joseph McGovern and Sgt. Jesse Dykstra made the arrest.

• Shane Callahan, 21, of Rumson, was issued three traffic citations on March 14 after an investigation found him to be the operator of a vehicle involved in a hit and run accident in the borough.

Callahan was issued the following citations: leaving the scene of an accident, failure to report an accident and reckless driving. S/O Brooks Robinson was the investigating officer.

• Luke Vinci, 21, of Long Branch, was arrested on March 15 and charged with simple assault stemming from a physical altercation with codefendant Shane Callahan at a Church Street address.

Vinci was processed and released pending a Fair Haven Court appearance. S/O Brooks Robinson was the arresting Officer.

• Shane Callahan, 21, of Rumson was arrested on March 15 and charged with simple assault stemming from a physical altercation with codefendant Luke Vinci at a Church Street address.

Callahan was processed and released pending a Fair Haven Court appearance. S/O Brooks Robinson was the arresting Officer.

• A Princeton Road resident reported on March 15 vandalism to her vehicle which had sustained a broken rear window. The damage was documented, nothing inside the vehicle was reported missing.

• A Princeton Road resident reported on March 15 vandalism to a walkway lamp that occurred sometime during the previous evening.

Sgt. Jesse Dykstra took the report.

• A Linden Dr. resident reported on March 16 that an unknown person had filed a fraudulent tax return in his name with the I.R.S.

Patrolman Christian Hostrup took the report.

• Scott Meller, 31, of Shrewsbury, was arrested on March 20 and charged with DWI (driving while intoxicated)following a traffic stop.

Meller was also issued summonses for speeding and reckless driving. He was released pending a Fair Haven court appearance.

Patrolman William Lagrotteria was the arresting officer.

• Jessica Bellagamba, 29, of Toms River turned herself in on March 24 for an active traffic warrant out of Fair Haven in the amount of $350.

Detective Stephen Schneider was the arresting officer. Bellagamba posted full bail amount and was released.

• Nicole Shubeck, 22 , of Eatontown, was arrested on March 25 following a traffic stop for an active traffic warrant out of Shrewsbury in the amount of $240.

She was released after posting full cash bail. Patrolman Dwayne Reevey was the arresting officer.

• Jake Bevilacqua, 23, of Eatontown, was arrested on March 29 following a traffic stop for an active traffic warrant out of Woodbridge Twp in the amount of $250.

He was released after posting full cash bail. S/O Brooks Robinson was the arresting officer.

The following arrests were made recently by Red Bank police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

• John Corley, 36, of Holmdel, was arrested on April 8 in the area of Broad Street and charged with DWI (driving while intoxicated) by Lt. Errico Vescio.

• Daniel Giammarino, 23, of Middletown, was arrested on April 7 in the area of Broad Street and charged with possession of a CDS, anabolic steroids, possession of a hypodermic syringe, and possession prescription legend drugs by Patrolman Benjamin Springer.

• William Faherty, 55, of Little Silver, was arrested on April 5 in the area of Spring Street and charged with DWI (driving while intoxicated) by Patrolman John Camarca.

• Craig Gangi, 46, of Rumson, was arrested on April 5 in the area of E. Front Street and charged with DWI (driving while intoxicated) by Patrolman Kristin Altimari.

• Anthony Carrozza, 36, of Red Bank, was arrested on April 5 in the area of Spring Street and charged with DWI (driving while intoxicated) by Patrolman Nicholas Maletto.

• Robert Blazer, 24, of Holmdel, was arrested on April 4 in the area of West Front Street and charged with simple assault by Patrolman John Camarca.

• Ketti Pecyna, 20, of the Belford section of Middletown, was arrested on April 7 in the area of Broad Street and charged with possession of a CDS, under 50 grams of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia by Patrolman Benjamin Springer.

• Jasper Tyler, 28, of Neptune, was arrested on April 6 in the area of Herbert Street and charged with possession of a CDS, under 50 grams of marijuana, and contempt of court by Patrolman Shane Dengel.

• Jose Lemus-Martinez, 19, of Red Bank, was arrested on April 6 in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest by Sgt. Joey Fields.

Rumson Police Report Burglary, Theft, Vandalism, Assault & More

The following incidents and arrests were reported by the Rumson police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

Incidents

• On March 24, Special Officer Berger took a report of an altercation between juveniles at a Rumson Road address.

• There was a report on March 1 of vandalism to a mailbox at a home on Edwards Point Road.

Special Officer Class II Morse took the report.

• There was a report on March 1 of vandalism to a vehicle on Holly Street. The caller reported that the spark plugs of the vehicle were loosened.

Special Officer Class II Morse took the report.

• There was a report on March 2 of harassing phone calls being made to a West River Road business.

Patrolman Ciambrone took the report.

• An attempted wire fraud was reported on March 5 by an Edwards Point Road resident.

Patrolman Gaynor took the report.

• There was a report on March 16 of a stolen license plate from a Wardell Avenue resident.

Special Officer Class II McCurdy took the report.

• A theft of jewelry and tools was reported by a Park Avenue resident on March 17.

Patrolman Torres took the report which was turned over to Detective Christopher Isherwood for investigation.

Arrests

• Nicholas Aarseth, 24, of Sea Bright, was arrested by Patrolman Torres on March 13 and charged with DWI (driving while intoxicated).

Aarseth was released pending court.

• Robert Toros, 36, of Philadelphia, PA, was arrested by Special Officer Class II Morse on March 22 and charged with simple assault.

Toros was released pending a court date. Patrolmen Gaynor and Ciambrone assisted in the arrest.

• Robert Toros, 36, of Philadelphia, PA was arrested on March 22 by Special Officer Class II Morse on a contempt of court charge.

Toros was transported to Monmouth County Correctional Institution. Patrolman Campanella assisted.

• Christopher McKnight, 28, of the Lincroft section of Middletown, was arrested by Special Officer Berger on March 24 on a contempt of court charge.

McKnight posted bail and was released. Lt. York assisted.

• Theresa McGroarty, 24, of Oceanport, was arrested on March 24 by Detective Christopher Isherwood and charged with receiving stolen property.

McGroarty was released on a summons pending court.

• Michael Carter, 23, of Sea Bright, was arrested on March 31 by Detective Christopher Isherwood and charged with receiving stolen property.

Carter was released on a summons pending court.

• Paul Procopio, 27, of Eatontown, was arrested on March 31 by Detective Christopher Isherwood and charged with burglary, theft and receiving stolen property.

 

Arresting News Nearby: Contempt

The following arrests were recently made by Middletown police on contempt of court charges and violations of court orders: 

• Peter Dickson, 20, of Hartshorne Road in the Locust section of Middletown, was arrested on March 24 by Patrolman Adam Vendetti on contempt of court warrants issued by the Middletown and Holmdel municipal courts.

He was released after posting $1,500 bail.

• Darren Mensch, 38, of Schelly Drive in Middletown, was arrested on March 24 by Detective Daniel Sullivan for shoplifting and on a contempt of court warrant issued by the Middletown Municipal Court.

He was held on $5,500 bail, set by Judge Richard Thompson.

• Alexander Prasad, 25, of Manalapan, was arrested on March 25 in the area of Alston Court and charged with possession of a CDS (controlled dangerous substance), under 50 grams of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia by Patrolman John Camarca.

• Trey Rasmussen, 23, of Princeton, was arrested on March 22 in the area of Broad Street and charged with disorderly conduct, criminal mischief and resisting arrest by Patrolman Tanner Shea.

• Tara Thurber-Snyder, 34, of Bradley Beach, was arrested on March 20 in the area of Mechanic Street and charged with defiant trespass by Patrolman Ashon Lovick.
