Arresting News: Heroin Possession, Vehicular Assault, DWIs, Stalking & More

The following recent arrests were reported by the Middletown police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

• Matthew Carscadden, 35, of Windswept Road in Holmdel, was arrested on April 6 by Patrolman Thomas Foster and charged with  DWI (driving while intoxicated) and leaving the scene of an accident with injuries.

He was held on $5,000 bail, set by Judge Richard Thompson.

• Robert Kolb, 47, of Route 36 in the Port Monmouth section of Middletown, was arrested on April 7 by Cpl. James Keenan and charged with simple assault.

He was held on $2,500 bail.

• On April 7, Cpl. James Keenan arrested a 15-year-old female juvenile and charged her with obstructing the administration of law.

She was released pending a court date.

• Brian O’Herron, 29, of Seabreeze Avenue in Middletown, was arrested on April 9 by Patrolman Adam Colfer and charged with stalking, terroristic threats, theft and burglary.

He was held on $5,000 bail, set by Judge Richard Thompson.

• On April 9, Patrolman Raymond Sofield arrested a 17-year-old male juvenile for and charged him with possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was released pending a court date.

• Brianna Nelson, 24, of Michigan Avenue in the Port Monmouth section of Middletown, was arrested on April 11 by Patrolman James Beirne and charged with theft of lost property.

She was released pending a court date.

• Gary Jorgensen, 32, of Mercury Street in Middletown, was arrested on April 11 by Patrolman Scott Davis and charged with  DWI (driving while intoxicated), possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of heroin.

He was released pending a court date.

• Nancy Pileggi, 45, of Ideal Avenue in Middletown, was arrested on April 11 by Patrolman Richard Raike and charged with simple assault.

She was released pending a court date.

• Edward Rivera, 22, of Regency Court in Middletown, was arrested on April 10 by Patrolman James Beirne and charged with criminal mischief.

He was released after posting $2,500 bail, with a 10 percent option set by Judge Richard Thompson.

• Christopher Prentiss, 35, of Port Monmouth Road in Middletown was arrested on April 13 by Patrolman Adam Colfer and charged with aggravated assault, criminal restraint, terroristic threats, theft and credit card theft.

He was held on $30,000 bail, set by Judge Richard Thompson.

• Yvonne Starks, 54, of Steven Avenue in Tinton Falls, was arrested on April 13 by Police Officer Tara Stucy and charged with shoplifting and  on a contempt of court warrant issued by the Long Branch Municipal Court.

She was released after posting $650 bail.

• Thelma Harrison, 52, of West Sunset Avenue in Red Bank, was arrested on April 13 by Cpl. Bernie Chenoweth and charged with shoplifting.

She was released pending a court date.

• Patti Hoverson, 27, of Park Avenue in the Belford section of Middletown, was arrested on April 13 by Detective Keith Hirschbein and charged with shoplifting.

She was released pending a court date.

• Kenneth Hart, 57, of Forest Avenue in Keansburg, was arrested on April 14 by Patrolman Raymond Sofield and charged with DWI (driving while intoxicated), criminal mischief and assault with a motor vehicle.

He was held on $5,000 bail, set by Judge Richard Thompson.

• Ryan McKee, 25, of Pedee Place in Middletown, was arrested on April 14 by Patrolman Thomas Hughes of the Anti-Crime Unit on contempt of court warrants issued by the Middletown and Tinton Falls municipal courts, obstructing the administration of law and resisting arrest.

He was held on $2,500 bail.

• John Bleibdrey, 31, of Hosford Avenue in the Leonardo section of Middletown, was arrested on April 15 by Patrolman Michael Reuter and charged with DWI (driving while intoxicated), unlawful possession of Alprazolam and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was released pending a court date.

• Jason Baggitt, 26, of Euretta Avenue in Freehold, was arrested on April 15 by Patrolman Stephen Greenwood of the Street Crimes Unit and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana.

He was released pending a court date.

• Brian Santos, 35, of Center Avenue in Keansburg, was arrested on April 15 by Patrolman Ricardo Cruz on a contempt of court warrant issued by the Newark Municipal Court.

He was released after posting $5,000 bail with a 10 percent option.

• Daniel Kaszak, 26, of Fairfield Avenue in the Belford section of Middletown, was arrested on April 16 by Patrolman Nicholas Haines and charged with possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was released pending a court date.

• Sean Lynch, 29, of Rutledge Drive in Red Bank, was arrested on April 16 by Patrolman James Beirne and charged with possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was released pending a court date.
