Police: Area Man Arrested on Burglary, Assault, Endangerment, Drug Charges; $250K Bail

The following recent arrests were made by Middletown police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction. 

• Gwen Daly, 34, of Fourth Street in Highlands, was arrested on April 27 by Patrolman Thomas Hughes of the Anti-Crime Unit and charged with providing false information to a police officer.

She was released pending a court date.

• Xavier Williams, 45, of Hopping Road in the Belford section of Middletown, was arrested on April 29 by Patrolman Scott Davis and charged with simple assault.

He was released pending a court date.

• Luis Valverde-Mora, 37, of Main Street in the Belford section of Middletown, was arrested on April 28 by Patrolman Kent Thorton and charged with aggravated assault, criminal restraint, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and unlawful possession of a weapon.

He was held on $40,000 bail, set by Judge Richard Thompson.

• Daniel Zimmerman, 34 of Navesink Drive in Monmouth Beach, was arrested on April 28 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI).

He was released pending a court date.

• Michael Muller, 31, of Princeton Street in Red Bank, was arrested on April 29 by Patrolman Brendan Santiago and charged with simple assault.

Muller was held on $500 bail, set by Judge Richard Thompson.

• Jared Lamanno, 31, of Kimberly Court in Middletown, was arrested on April 29 by Patrolman John Soltysik and charged with simple assault.

He was released after posting $2,500 bail with a 10 percent option, set by Judge Richard Thompson.

• Emelio Rivera, 23, of 4th Street in West Keansburg, was arrested on April 30 by Patrolman Nicholas Haines and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was released pending a court date.

• Salvatore Fragale, 18, of Crawford Road in Middletown, was arrested on May 2 by Patrolman Richard Belmonte and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was released pending a court date.

• Stacy Perlman, 45, of Sharon Station Road in Allentown, was arrested on May 1 by Police Officer Stephanie Geisel and charged with driving while intoxicated.

She was released pending a court date.

• Shannon Ryan, 43, of Cooper Road in Red Bank, was arrested on May 1 by Patrolman Adam Colfer and charged with unlawful possession of Alprazolam, possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and obstructing the administration of the law.

She was released pending a court date.

• William Allegar, age 36, from Lenison Avenue in the Belford section of Middletown, was arrested on May 1 by Detective Sgt. Michael Shaffery and charged with burglary, aggravated assault, endangering an injured victim, possession of cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was held on $250,500 bail, set by Monmouth County Superior Court Judge Honora O’Brien-Killgallen.

• Matthew Moran, 38, of Monmouth Avenue in the Leonardo section of Middletown, was arrested on April 30 by Patrolman Michael Allen and charged with simple assault and endangering the welfare of a child.

He was held on $26,500 bail with a 10 percent option, set by Judge Richard Thompson.

• Kimberly Daly, 34, of Fourth Street in Highlands, was arrested on April 30 by Detective Keith Hirschbein and charged with theft by deception, possession of a hypodermic syringe, violation of a court order and on a contempt of court warrant issued by the Keansburg Municipal Court.

She was held pending a court date.

• Paul Ortiz, 52, of Ocean Avenue in Middletown, was arrested on May 4 by Patrolman John Mele and charged with possession of cocaine.

He was released pending a court date.

• Joseph Castro, 43, of South Stump Tavern in Jackson, was arrested on May 4 by Patrolman John Mele and charged with possession of cocaine.

He was released pending a court date.

• Buff Anderson, 20, of Fisk Street in Fair Haven, was arrested on May 4 by Patrolman James Beirne and charged with possession of heroin and possession of a hypodermic syringe.

He was released pending a court date.

• Justin Torres, 20, of Seabreeze Way in Keansburg, was arrested on May 4 by Patrolman Stephen Greenwood and charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was released pending a court date.
