The following September incidents and arrests were reported by Rumson police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.
Arrests
- Rickey Durham II, 22, of Piscataway, was arrested in the area of Rumson Road and Tennis Court Lane on Sept. 13 and charged with hindering apprehension by Patrolman James Camilleri.
Incidents
• Police responded to a home on Oakes Road on Sept. 30 on a report of a loud party. They found a large juvenile party in progress at the home. Susan Cahill, 58, of Rumson, was issued a summons for maintaining a nuisance by Patrolman Donald Morse.
• Police responded on Sept. 25 to property owners on Post Road on a report of a burglary. The home was under construction and property had been damaged the previous weekend.

• Police responded on Sept. 23 to a report of two people “passed out” on the front lawn of a Shrewsbury Drive home and an active underage party at the home. A 13-year-old male juvenile was later charged with making false reports to law enforcement via the Juvenile Justice system.
• The theft of a bicycle, valued at $450, was reported on Sept. 6.

• Police responded to the Oceanic Library on Sept. 5 on a report of money missing from the building.
