You could say they got the fever — spring fever … for a fling … or going steady … or something.

It was the late 1970s at RFH, the sun was shining and so was a popular high school couple in the Class of ’78. While it looks like a perfect spring fling kind of setting, these two personified cool teen coupledom — more than a teen fling.
Many remember these two — Kate Galvin and Billy Finn. No matter the season, it seemed like they were attached at the hand or hip and seen around the halls and campus, epitomizing young “like.”
There’s another classic capture of the groovy pair sitting with a couple of hip RFH guys on a spring trip. In this snapshot, they’re likely set to take a spring fever ride off campus and into the sunny day.
Well, maybe not. But, things are definitely sunny between these two steadies; and, the ride may not be so far-fetched a notion, as there seems to be a set of wheels or a few in the parking lot they’re near.
Either way, the coolness of this RFH teen coupledom gives a chill, warm vibe of love in the spring air. Though, Billy looks like he’s got a gripe.
So, can you caption this one? Bloomin’ love (or at least like-like) adventure at RFH? Remember the ol’ “But do you like him or do you like-like him?” question? Who did you like-like when spring was in the air? Know any RFH couples who are still together?
