A DWI checkpoint is set to start in Shrewsbury on Friday night and run through very early Saturday morning, Monmouth County DWI Task Force Coordinator and Allehnurst Police Chief Michael Schneider announced.

New Area ShopRite Features Local Goods
A new ShopRite supermarket has opened in Shrewsbury; and, as a new feature, sells locally-produced goods.
The state-of-the-art, 80,000-square-foot Saker family-owned ShopRite is located at 1151 Shrewsbury Avenue. It officially opened at 7 a.m. today.

An area DWI checkpoint will be set to run from late Friday evening to early Saturday morning.
Scene Around: Misty Shrewsbury River
It was quite the hauntingly comforting scene on Tuesday — mist rising from the Shrewsbury River from the Sea Bright side to Rumson and all the way to Highlands.
Then the sun poked through the clouds, the mist evaporated and it was time for a little reflection … of the crystalline riverfront view onto the water and life in the Rumson-Fair Haven area.

DWI Checkpoint Set for Friday Night
There will be a DWI checkpoint in Monmouth County starting at 10 p.m. on Friday, the Monmouth County DWI Task Force announced.
