Longtime Little Silver resident, Eleanor “Em” Jones Lawes, passed away peacefully at home in her sleep on Dec. 28 “after a day surrounded by family.” She was 99.

In Memoriam: Fair Haven-Raised Longtime Rumsonite & First Aid Squad Member, Frank Davis Jr., 76

It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of a long-time member of our community and the Rumson First Aid Squad. He was a friend, he was a mentor and he was family. He will be deeply missed, but his memory will forever be treasured in our hearts. Let’s come together to support each other during this difficult time, sharing our favorite memories and celebrating the impact he had on our lives. Fair Haven-raised longtime Rumsonite and First Aid Squad member, Frank Davis Jr., passed away on Nov. 2 from progressive heart failure. He was 76.

After growing up in Fair Haven, Frank lived in Rumson for the last 40 years.

In Memoriam: Red Bank Resident Sandra Larsen, 87

Red Bank resident Sandra Larsen died peacefully, surrounded by family in her home, after succumbing to congestive heart failure. She was 87.

Sandra spent her childhood years in Lyndhurst where she met her husband of 46 years, Larry. After marrying, the couple lived in Kaiserslautern, Germany while Larry served in the US Army. Upon returning to the United States, they lived in an apartment in Lyndhurst, before moving to West Milford in 1960.
