In Memoriam: Red Bank Resident Sandra Larsen, 87

Red Bank resident Sandra Larsen died peacefully, surrounded by family in her home, after succumbing to congestive heart failure. She was 87.

Sandra spent her childhood years in Lyndhurst where she met her husband of 46 years, Larry. After marrying, the couple lived in Kaiserslautern, Germany while Larry served in the US Army. Upon returning to the United States, they lived in an apartment in Lyndhurst, before moving to West Milford in 1960.

“Sandra was predeceased by Larry in 1998, and two years later moved to Red Bank to be closer to family. She continued her own travel, skied into her mid 70’s, and captained the boat she and Larry had traveled on extensively. She spent as much time with her growing family as possible.”
