Lifetime Little Silver resident, Elizabeth “Lizzie” Mahar Gilmour passed away on Feb. 6 after a brief illness.
Former longtime Little Silver resident, Nancy Ann Birkenmeier MacConnell, more recently of Middletown, passed away at home on Jan. 25. She was 92.
Nancy was predeceased by: her parents, Robert and Elizabeth Birkenmeier; her sister, Betsy Mueller; brother R. Barrett Birkenmeier; her husband, Donald W. MacConnell, in 1996; and her son, Wylie, in 1960.
She is survived by: her children, Melissa and husband James Sullivan, Debbie and husband Tom Doremus, Peter and wife Cathy MacConnell, and Nancy and husband David Wikoff; her grandchildren, Sean, Shannon, Caitlin, T.D., Taylor, Kristyn, Blaire and Brian; and great-grandchildren, Cole, Teagan, Rhys, Camryn, Tessa, Ruby, Saylor and Brody.

Longtime Little Silver resident Virginia Catherine Harmon — Aunt Ginny to nieces and nephews and Virginia to friends — passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones, on Sunday, Jan. 8, at her Prospect Avenue home. She was 88.
Longtime Little Silver resident and former Rumson Country Day School (RCDS) Board of Trustees president, Charles Hill Jones Jr., also of Palm Beach, FL, died on Sept. 28. He was 89.
Sea Bright-raised former longtime Little Silver resident, Barbara J. “Babs” Waters, of Toms River, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 4, at home and surrounded by family. She was 89.
Little Silver-raised Red Bank Regional High School (RBR) basketball Hall of Fame inductee, area summer bartender and Highlands resident, Rachael Twigg, passed away on Thursday July 28, after a battle with breast cancer. She was 42.
