Longtime Rumsonite and former Rumson Beauty Salon hairdresser, Carmela “Camille” Mastria, passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, April 25. She was 99.
Rumson-raised longtime Locust resident and Sea Bright Beach Club, and Rumson Country Club member, Alexander “Sandy” Van Rensselaer Halsey passed away peacefully on March 5 in Bluffton, SC, surrounded by his children and devoted caregiver, Lisa. He was 95.

Rumson-raised Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School (RFH) graduate, Delia Ann Tanger, passed away on April 10 after a long illness. She was 55.

Little Silver resident, Nancy Gulick, “a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend,” passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 11, at her Little Silver home. She was 80.
Longtime Rumsonite, Patricia “Pat” Ann Doherty McMahon, passed peacefully in her home of more than 50 years while surrounded by her children. She was 91.

Monmouth Beach resident, Maria H. Zifchak, formerly of Fair Haven and Rumson, “a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love and a life defined by devotion to her family.” She was 86.
The following March arrests were reported by Rumson police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.
