DWI Checkpoint in Monmouth Beach

Police have announced that there will be a sobriety/DWI checkpoint in Monmouth Beach from Saturday night to early Sunday morning.

From 10 p.m. Saturday night until 2 a.m. on Sunday, the Monmouth Beach police and members of the Monmouth County DWI Task Force will be pulling drivers over from southbound lanes on Ocean Avenue into the Monmouth Beach Cultural Center parking lot to test those suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs for sobriety, according to Task Force Coordinator and Brielle Police Chief Michael Palmer said.

 

 

Caution: DWI Checkpoint in Monmouth

Going somewhere and planning on having cocktails? The Monmouth County DWI Task Force advises that you use discretion and not drink over the .08 blood-alcohol limit and drive or appoint a designated sober driver.

The Monmouth County DWI Task Force, in collaboration with the Oceanport Police Department is conducting a DWI checkpoint to determine drivers’ sobriety in Oceanport tonight, July 10, into Sunday morning.

The checkpoint will area will be set up at Fort Monmouth’s 400 area on Oceanport Avenue. Vehicles will be directed from northbound lanes on Oceanport Avenue into the lot from 11 p.m. tonight to 3 a.m. on Saturday.

DWI Checkpoint Starts Saturday Night

Monmouth County DWI Task Force members and West Long Branch police will be conducting a DWI checkpoint on Route 36 in West Long Branch from late Saturday night through early Sunday morning.

Officers will be pulling vehicles from westbound lanes into the Monmouth Park Corporate Center parking lot from 11 p.m. Saturday through 3 a.m. Sunday to conduct sobriety checks, a release from the Task Force’s coordinator, Brielle Police Chief Michael W. Palmer, said in a release.

 

The checkpoint is being set up in cooperation with the NJ State Police.

DWI Checkpoint in Monmouth County

There will be a DWI checkpoint in Deal Saturday night through early Sunday morning.

The Monmouth County DWI Task force will have the checkpoint set up at the Deal Casino parking lot on Ocean Avenue in Deal from 11 p.m. to 3 a.m., pulling vehicles from northbound lanes into the lot to check drivers’ sobriety, Monmouth County DWI Task Force Coordinator and Brielle Police Chief Michael W. Palmer said.
