The following arrests were made and reported by Rumson police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

• Robert Brown, 24, of the Lincroft section of Middletown, was arrested on June 18 and charged with driving under the influence (DUI) in a school zone by Patrolman Donald Schneider.

• Ernesto Antonio-Cruz, 22, of Bound Brook, was arrested on June 9 and charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia by Patrolman Grace Maggiulli.

• Samuel Chandler, 18, of Rumson, was arrested on June 5 and charged with underage possession of alcohol by Lt. Christopher York.

• Ian Vernon, 18, of Rumson, was arrested on June 5 and charged with maintaining a nuisance, serving alcoholic beverages to a minor and disorderly conduct by Sgt. Peter Koenig.

Contempt of Court

• Uriel Florenz, 29, of Nutley, was arrested on June 24 on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Cody Lovgren.

• Thomas Maloney, 50, of Rumson, was arrested on June 6 on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Cody Lovgren.
