In Memoriam: Rumson-Sea Bright Area-Raised Peter James Lang IV, 45

Rumson-Sea Bright area-raised Peter James Lang IV passed away on July 29 at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune. He was 45.

“Born on Nov. 23, 1977 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank, Peter traveled around with his family at a young age to many places before they finally settled down in the Rumson/Sea Bright area. Peter graduated from Shore Regional High School in 1996. From there he pursued many opportunities of interest. He was a volunteer firefighter, and first aid responder for the town of
Sea Bright for many years.

He was truly loved by all.”

Peter is predeceased by his father, Peter James Lang III, and his mother, JoAnn Elizabeth Lang.

He is survived by: his brother, Steven Lang and wife Ashley; his sister, Christine Leehr and husband Chris; Melissa Rosado and son Peter James Lang V.

Services will be held on Aug. 10 from 5 to 8 p.m. at John Day Funeral Home, Red Bank. Peter’s ashes will be laid to rest on Aug.11 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Middletown.
