In Memoriam: Longtime Little Silver Resident, Greg White

Longtime Little Silver resident Gregory P. White passed away on Sept. 9.

“Greg bought his house in Little Silver in 1978 and was a well-known fixture on Parker Avenue. Everyone knew Greg, the mayor of Parker Avenue! He was always cheery and a great conversationalist …
Greg had a lifelong love of cars and had a wide collection of miniature autos. He also loved his convertibles and could be seen on nice days with the top down driving over to Sickles, the Acme, and the beach …
Greg attended many Broadway and off- Broadway shows. His tastes were eclectic: drama, musicals, operas, and comedies, Over the years, his enjoyment of Broadway even transferred to the names of his cats: Phannie, Musetta, and Puck.
