Edna J. (Pomphrey) Ruscio, who spent 87 years of her 92-year life in Rumson, passed away peacefully at the home she loved on Feb. 12. She had just celebrated her 92nd birthday on Jan. 29.
She worked at Progressive Life Insurance in Red Bank, where she met her husband, Joseph. After raising her two daughters, JoAnne and Joyce, she returned to work at Prown’s in Red Bank as a bookkeeper. She also worked for what was Fidelity Bank (now Wells Fargo Bank) in Red Bank.
Edna was predeceased by: her husband, Joseph, in 2004; and her daughter, JoAnne Ruscio, in 2020; her parents, Edwin and Olive Pomphrey; her sister, Doris P. Robinson; her brothers, Frederick, Edwin L., Warren B. and Robert H.
She is survived by: her daughter, Joyce Repoli and son-in-law Albert, of Tinton Falls; her grandson, Seth Osborn and his fiancée Sahara Smith, of Austin, TX; her sister, Betty Newman; several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

A burial at Fair View Cemetery will be held in the spring.
