When it comes to the construction work schedule on the Rumson-Sea Bright Bridge replacement, weather permitting is always the determining phrase.

And with the return of the sun this week, after a long stretch of sopping rain, the weather promises to permit a status quo flow of work through Friday with one change in usual activity on the Rumson side and another in the materials delivery schedule.

The replacement activity, as has lately been the case, will continue through Friday during the hours of 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
