The following April criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Rumson police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.
Criminal Incidents
- A Buttonwood Lane resident reported that their home had been burglarized sometime between April 5 and 8. Sgt. Daniel Campanella is investigating.
- At approximately 3:30 a.m. on April 3, a person house sitting for a Bellevue Avenue resident called 911 to report four people in hoodies fleeing the residence after forcing entry through a side door. Patrolman Cody Lovgren is investigating.
Arrests
- Melissa Waldron, 30, of Sea Bright, was arrested in the area of the Rumson-Sea Bright Bridge on April 26 and charged with driving under the influence (DUI) by Patrolman James Camilleri.
