They’re all revved up with somewhere to go — a Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School (RFH) 45th reunion.
The “party down” plan is set. The RFH Class of ’78 is doing the Hustle from 6 to 10 p.m. on Aug. 26 back to the scene of the grooviest of teen misadventures to celebrate reuniting after 45 years — The Shore Casino in Atlantic Highlands.
Disco ball and all, it’s the place where this class of 314 and all its teen tribulations brought senior year to its zenith with antics to dance about at the RFH Senior Dinner Dance.
And, yes, the disco ball is still there and RFH classmates can still Hustle — or at least try to bustle.
Never “running on empty,” as the 70s song goes, this class has all the moves it needs to “take it to the limit … one more time” with this reunion party.
The committee (pictured planning, with a touch of partying, above) just needs firm commitments for celebrating 45 years among classmates … and the cash to keep everyone in line to dance and party the night away. Just don’t say that 45 number, like outplayed vinyl, out loud to anyone in this class.
These RFHers are in some serious denial. For them, though, that denial is all the more reason to party like it’s 1978. And party they will! But there’s no party without payment.
So, here’s the important part — as if the party part wasn’t …
If you’re a classmate who’d like to join the party, don’t wait to RSVP. Time is quickly running out. And, this reunion, you cannot just decide last minute and show up at the door. Payment MUST be made BEFORE the event or you will be turned away at the door. Sorry! Not the committee’s rules!
Payment must be submitted by ABSOLUTELY NO LATER THAN Aug. 20. Procrastinators, do not be party poopers. Pay up, ASAP!
If you have any questions, feel free to email or message any of the committee members listed on the invite at Evite. Click here to get all the details and payment information. Also, classmates should keep checking the RFH Class of 1978 Reunion page for any updates.
