The following February criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Red Bank police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.
Criminal Incidents
• The theft of a package, the contents of which is valued at $750, from the front of a residence in the area of Riverside Avenue was reported on Feb. 23.
Patrolman Gary Watson took the report.
• The theft of $500 in cash from a wallet in the area of Broad Street was reported on Feb. 19.
Patrolman Grace Maggiulli took the report.
• The theft of wallet from a motor vehicle in the area of John Street was reported on Feb. 13.
Lt. Matthew Ehrenreich took the report.
• The theft of the front license plate of a vehicle in the area of Broad Street was reported on Feb. 10.
Patrolman Gary Watson took the report.
• The theft of $49 worth of gas from an E. Newman Springs Road gas station was reported on Feb. 9.
Sgt. Ashon Lovick took the report.
Arrests
• Charles Arliss, 32, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of E. Front Street on Feb. 28 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Froilan Hernandez.
• David Foggy, 53, of Keansburg, was arrested in the area of Monmouth Street on Feb. 26 and charged with disorderly conduct by Patrolman Kristin Altimari.
• Alfredo Hernandez-Codero, 47, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Broad Street on Feb. 26 and charged with theft of services and disorderly conduct by Patrolman Taylor Doremus.
• Omar Oropeza-Diego, 29, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of W. Bergen Place on Feb. 25 and charged with hindering apprehension and contempt of court by Patrolman Piero Vescio.
• Juan Perez-Torres, 36, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Rector Place on Feb. 23 and charged with simple assault by Patrolman Jeffrey Lewandowski.
• Zamiya Baynard, 25, of Barnegat, was arrested in the area of Hubbard Avenue on Feb. 22 and charged with hindering apprehension by Patrolman Preston Mellaci.
• Iyana White, 25, of Barnegat, was arrested in the area of Hubbard Avenue on Feb. 22 and charged with hindering apprehension and contempt of court by Patrolman Preston Mellaci.
• Pedro Rojas-Velasco, 18, of Neptune, was arrested in the area of Maple Avenue on Feb. 22 and charged with possession of more than six ounces of marijuana by Patrolman Frank Metta.
• Joel Mirassol-Rocha, 21, of Long Branch, was arrested in the area of Maple Avenue on Feb. 22 and charged with possession of more than six ounces of marijuana by Patrolman Frank Metta.
• Jeffrey Kowal, 27, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Maple Avenue on Feb. 21 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) and contempt of court by Patrolman Jeffrey Lewandowski.
• Christopher Befarah, 40, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Leroy Place on Feb. 18 and charged with simple assault and criminal mischief by Patrolman Preston Mellaci.
• Brionna Wells, 32, of Keansburg, was arrested in the area of Bridge Avenue on Feb. 16 and charged with contempt of court and obstructing the administration of law by Patrolman Preston Mellaci.
• Ulise Arevalo-Espinoza, 31, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Tilton Avenue on Feb. 15 and charged with criminal mischief by Patrolman Taylor Doremus.
• Maria Alas-Monge, 31, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Monmouth Street on Feb. 15 and charged with simple assault by Patrolman Taylor Doremus.
• Matthew Gossett, 43, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Monmouth Street on Feb. 15 charged with sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child by Detective John Camarca.
• Christopher Therien, 31, of Jackson, was arrested in the area of Maple Avenue on Feb. 14 and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) by Patrolman Christian Nelson.
• Jose Andrade-Flores, 37, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Willow Street on Feb. 14 and charged with contempt, contempt of court and harassment by Patrolman Grace Maggiulli.
• David Whitehead, 72, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Monmouth Street on Feb. 13 and charged with failure of sex offender to register by Detective Paul Perez.
• Jose Rodriguez-Hernandez, 33, of Red Bank, was arrested on Feb. 10 in the area of W. Bergen Place and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman Jeffrey Lewandowski.
• Carlos Piper, 34, of Middletown, was arrested in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on Feb. 6 and charged with obstructing the administration of law, resisting arrest and hindering apprehension by Patrolman Taylor Doremus.
