Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School (RFH) graduate and former Rumson resident Jordan Anthony Iarussi passed away on Sunday, July 2. He was 25.
Services are slated to begin on Friday, July 7, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Thompson Memorial Home, 310, Broad Street Red Bank. There will be a mass on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Precious Blood, Monmouth Beach.
Jordan was known for his charisma, smile and “laugh that could light up a room” as well as his love for his family, his obituary from Thompson Memorial Home said. He was also known as an exceptional basketball player, “dribbling a ball since he was a toddler … through his AAU teams and at high school as a RFH bulldog,” his obituary added. He attended Roanoke College in Salem, VA.
Jordan is predeceased by: his father, Charles Joseph Iarussi and his grandmother, Lois Jean Andre.
He is survived by: his mother and stepfather Robyn and Dean Sansone, of Holmdel; his siblings, C.J., Tyler, and Alexis Iarussi; his grandfather, Frederick Andre, of Rumson; his grandparents, Charles and Vicky Iarussi of Pittsburgh, PA; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jordan’s name to the Monmouth County SPCA, P.O. Box 93, Eatontown, NJ 07727.
