Fair Havenite Brian Morgan Duddy Jr. passed peacefully on Sunday, April 30, surrounded by his adoring mother, Kelley, and father, Brian. He was 29.
Born on Sept. 28, 1994 in New York City, Brian spent the last 27 years in Fair Haven.
“An exceptional student,” Brian graduated from Rumson Country Day School in 2009, Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School (RFH) in 2013 and Lehigh University in 2017.

“He was an avid and highly accomplished sailor, winning many local optimist and 420 sailing regattas. He represented the Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School (RFH) sailing team that went to the High School Nationals in Austin, Texas. Brian loved cross country running, his coaches and teammates, many with whom he remained friendly. Brian’s other passion was skiing with his family, his cousins and his uncle’s ski posse. He was a fierce hard-charging skier who loved speed, the bumps, the trees and really any terrain a mountain offered. Finally, Brian loved his Kappa Sigma brothers at Lehigh University. Brian is survived by: his parents, Kelley and Brian; his two brothers, John and Carter; and many loving relatives.
A memorial mass will be held on Monday, May 8 at 11 a.m. at The Church of the Nativity, 180 Ridge Rd., Fair Haven.
