There will be a DWI checkpoint on Friday night in Sea Bright that will be run earlier than the usual checkpoint hours.
Conducted by the Monmouth County DWI Task Force, the checkpoint will begin at 8 p.m. will run through Friday at midnight.
Vehicles will be pulled in from the northbound lanes of Ocean Avenue into the Sea Bright Borough Parking Lot to screen drivers for sobriety, checking to determine if they are under the influence of alcohol/drugs, Brielle Police Chief and DWI Task Force Coordinator Michael Palmer said.
