Rumson Police: Armed Robbery, Juvenile Arrests

The following September arrests were reported by Rumson police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

• A 17-year-old male juvenile from Atlantic Highlands was arrested on Sept. 1 and charged with armed robbery by Detective Sgt. Christopher Isherwood.

The juvenile was remanded to the Middlesex County Youth Detention Center.

• Krischan Wehnke, 18, of Middletown, was arrested on Sept. 5 and charged with armed robbery by Detective Sgt. Christopher Isherwood.

Wehnke was transported to MCCI in lieu of $250,000 bail, set by Honorable Judge Joseph Quinn, JSC.

 

•  A 15-year-old male juvenile from Rumson was arrested on Sept. 23 and charged with maintaining a nuisance by Patrolman Peter Koenig after police responded to a report of a party at an East River Road home.

The juvenile was released to a guardian.

Contempt of Court

• Vincent Roggio, 73, of Rumson, was arrested on Sept. 23 at police headquarters on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Special Officer Donald Morse.

• Jeremy White, 30, of Oakhurst, was arrested on Sept. 13 on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Special Officer Thomas Hughes.
