Police Report: Theft & Criminal Mischief

The following recent criminal incidents were reported by Red Bank police:

• An incident of criminal mischief was reported on Oct. 3. The victim reported that a wooden bench was removed from its chains, dug out from the ground and thrown into the river in the area of Bodman Place.

• An incident of criminal mischief was reported on Sept. 22. The words “BANK SQUAD” were spray painted in blue on the sidewalk located in the parking lot of City Center Plaza on Water Street.

Patrolman Stanley Balmer took the report.

• The theft of a lawn mower valued at $200 from a River Street garage was reported on Sept. 20.

Patrolman George Travostino took the report.

• An incident of criminal mischief was reported on Sept. 20. The victim reported that while his vehicle was parked in the area of Herbert Street, the wires to the beacon light on top of his vehicle were cut and removed.
