Authorities from the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office and Neptune City Police Department are asking anyone with information related to a fatal stabbing that took place late Tuesday evening to please come forward, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago and Neptune City Police Department Chief Matthew J. Quagliato jointly announced on Friday.

On March 4 at 11:31 p.m., Neptune City police responded to a report of a stabbing outside a residence in the vicinity of the 200 block of West Sylvania Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a 24-year-old male suffering from stab wounds.
The victim, later identified as Kaylib Paul, of Neptune Township, was rushed to a local hospital for treatment. Paul later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead on Wednesday, March 05.
