Scene Around: Skeleton Out of the Closet for Spooky Season

Oops! Looks like someone’s skeleton is out of the closet … and roaming the neighborhood in Fair Haven.

This menace was one of the first to have escaped and be spotted looming on its own little fright saunter. There are other hobgoblins popping up and out around the Rumson and Fair Haven towns, too, these Halloween season days. Hobgoblins. They’re defined as little spirits that do chores, but also play some priceless pranks for play.

It makes one wonder if these spooky creatures of the season might end up falling into one or a few of those tiresomely debated brush bins in Fair Haven after doing some raking and bundling. It’s doubtful any would fit in — literally or figuratively speaking. Ahem. Relax, governing body. No one’s trying this fine-riddled prank at home. The fines are too steep and these creatures would end up doing time through their season. Then again … hobgoblins do have a mind of their own menacing little spirits. Worth the pranking? Hmmmm … Never mind them.
