Where’s Frosty? Well, he and his family have apparently decided to take a stand, celebrate the holidays, bridge tend a bit and soak up the view of the Shrewsbury River.
After all, it’s a great view. And, what better way to catch some winter rays before their snow people demise than to cop a stand in a discrete spot on a construction lift on the Rumson-Sea Bright Bridge? It’s a great way to usher in the New Year, really. And the famous holiday family got a chance to celebrate while keeping paparazzi at bay … so they thought.
It was until Rumsonite John Lembeck happened to spot the trio and tree that the Frosty bunch was tucked away in a fan-fee niche. Lembeck got a snapshot of the scene today, after Christmas, so the iconic snow family got some quality river time and holiday fêting in solitude before the tree comes down and the spotlights and sunnier days melt them.
Who knows? Maybe they’ll show up on the new bridge next year. By the way, anyone know what the wife and child’s names are? We’re thinking her name is Frostina. Guesses on the little Santa-capped balls of snow?
Looks like they’re waving to passersby. So, if they haven’t melted, be sure to give a wave, a toot and a “Happy New Year!” wish. New bridge tenders? Hmmmmm …
Cheers to the Frosty family and the bridge!
