The following June criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Rumson police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.
Criminal Incidents
- A Ford F-350 pickup on June 30 was reported stolen from the area of Somerset Lane sometime in the past few weeks. Passaic police advised that they had recovered the vehicle.
- A business owner on June 28 reported that the door to his Caterpillar skid-steer had been stolen from a job site on Allencrest Road. Patrolman Costa took the report.
- A resident on June 9 reported their son’s E-scooter, valued at $1,000, had been stolen from the area of Ridge Road and Bingham Avenue. Sgt. Campanella took the report.
- A Navesink Avenue resident on June 8 reported items smashed in their back yard for the second time since May. Patrolman Morse took the report.
Arrests
- Jack Havard, 25, of Tinton Falls, was arrested in the area of Rumson Road and Tennis Court Lane on June 21 and charged with driving under the influence (DUI) by Patrolman James Wrightington.
- Mark Scaliti, 55, of Westfield, was arrested at a business on Avenue of Two Rivers on June 9 and charged with disorderly conduct by Sgt. Daniel Campanella.
