Arrests have been made in a September 2024 early morning burglary and attempted motor vehicle theft on North Rohallion Drive in Rumson, Rumson police announced today in a released statement.

The suspects, Asim Key, 20, Raheem Moldonado Jr., 22, Yashir Philips, 19, and Altamir Thornton, 22, all of Newark, have been arrested and charged with: burglary to an occupied home, receiving stolen property, burglary to a vehicle, criminal attempt (auto theft), conspiracy to commit auto theft, and conspiracy to commit burglary.
Three of the suspects are being held in Bergen County Jail. One is in Essex County Jail. The charges stem from a Sept. 20 incident.
On Sept. 20, 2024 at approximately 3 a.m., patrol officers were dispatched to a home on North Rohallion Drive on a burglar alarm activation.
Upon arrival, the homeowner said that three unknown people had just fled his property through the back door and his Porsche was found running in the driveway.
Detective Stephanie Lehner investigated the case and found the four suspects in collaboration with Union Township, Livingston, Chatham and Hillside police departments.
