The following August criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Rumson police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

Criminal Incidents

• A Buttonwood Lane resident reported on Aug. 26 that his Range Rover had been stolen from his driveway.

Patrolman Michael Berger took the report.

• Patrols responded on Aug. 28 to Meadow Ridge Park for a report of a vehicle burglary. The victim reported that someone had broken the rear window of her car and taken her purse while she was walking.

Patrolman James Camilleri took the report.

Arrests

• Brianne McConville, 34, of Staten Island, NY, was arrested near the intersection of Rumson and Fair Haven roads on Aug. 30 and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI) by Patrolman James Camilleri.

• Jennifer DeCastro, 47, of Spring Lake, was arrested on Aug. 22 as a result of a July 14 multi-car accident on Rumson Road and charged with assault by auto, driving while intoxicated (DWI) and related motor vehicle summonses by Patrolman Michael Berger.
