It’s just about time to fill an empty bowl at Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School (RFH) to help the hungry.
What has been dubbed the Empty Bowls fundraiser is set for March 22 at the high school from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.. Empty Bowls allows community members to enjoy a meal together while helping local families faced with the struggle of getting food on the table via the FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties.
For $10, attendees receive a handcrafted ceramic bowl created by RFH ceramics students along with soup, bread, and dessert donated by the community.
This year, donations of new or gently used books for Bridge of Books Foundation will also be accepted.
