Those are not lined up bottles of Lowenbrau in this 1980s pic, yet RFH old timers can’t help but hear the classic jingle in their minds when seeing this. “Here’s to good friends. Tonight is kinda special …” Yes. TGIF.

We also can’t help saying, once again with the retro pics of RFH party pals, “Don’t try this at home.” Let’s not forget, folks, the drinking age was 18 then. It’s pretty much a given, anyway, that on a Friday night there’s some miscreant party time antic, like this one, brewing — barley, hops, six-pack hats and all.

We’re pretty sure that the film developing era saved a few teen, albeit legal adult (or not) hides back in the day, too. In fact, only decades after the fact are some parents just finding the specifics of all this weekend hoopla they had suspected was truth. And here it is, moms and dads, in black-and-white.

Everyone survived; and, really, parents, those bottles are still capped. Hmmmmm …

So, TGIF RFH dinosaurs! Cheers to good friends! Every night among them is, indeed, special.
