Police Report: Several Incidents of Theft

The following recent criminal incidents were reported by Red Bank police:

• There was a report of a theft in the area of Catherine Street on Feb. 16. The victim reported that Chevrolet car keys and remote and a diamond ring valued at $500 were stolen from the residence.

• There was a report of a theft in the area of Locust Avenue on Feb. 20. The victim reported that two grey solar lights, valued at roughly $5 each, were taken from the property.

• There was a report of a theft in the area of Broad Street on Feb. 21. The victim reported that a square silver BC Retro Class watch, valued at $800, was taken from a table inside the business.

• There was a report of a theft in the area of East Bergen Place on Feb. 24. Several items were reportedly stolen from the back seat of a motor vehicle parked outside a residence. Items reported missing are: a black/white Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM lens, valued at approximately $1,149.00; one Canon black EOS Rebel SL1 DSLR Camera, valued at $399; two black Canon LP-E12 batteries, valued at $50.99 each; and $5 cash.

• There was a report of a theft in the area of Maple Avenue on Feb. 24. Several unlocked vehicles were reportedly broken into and ransacked. Nothing was missing from some of the vehicles. One was missing an iPod with a black face and silver back, valued at $50. Others were missing loose change.

• A theft in the area of Riverside Avenue was reported on Feb. 24. The victim reported that a large black and brown purse containing a wallet with credit cards, a NJ driver’s license and $120 in cash was stolen from the vehicle.

• A theft was reported in the area of South Bridge Avenue on Feb. 27. The victim reported that four 20-inch chrome rims, valued at $700 each, were taken from the property.
