Grow with Grace: Get Cooking with Your Tomato Avalanche!

Welcome back to Grow with Grace!

Here’s the deal. if you have a garden, then I know you have tomatoes …and you know you have tomatoes. The question is: What do you do with all of them?

Let’s dig in!

First things first: Please don’t put them in the refrigerator. A ripe garden tomato deserves better than that.

By now, I’m sure you’re enjoying tomato sandwiches and Caprese salad. (One of my favorite twists is using burrata instead of mozzarella.)

This week, I’m sharing a few of my favorite recipes. They’re all simple, fresh, and designed to make the most of whatever your garden is producing.

Here are four of my favorite ways to make the most of tomato season

Until next time…

I grow plum tomatoes just for canning, so stay tuned for September’s feature on our annual Sauce Day. It isn’t quite I Love Lucy stomping grapes — but by the end of Sauce Day, my kitchen looks like it could have been.

Until then, when you’ve had your fill of tomato sandwiches, try a few of these recipes and keep bringing your garden from yard to table.

I’m off to toil in the soil!
