Tonight kicks off a weekend of DWI checkpoints in the shore area, The Monmouth County DWI Task Force announced.

On Friday night in Neptune Township …
Starting at 8 p.m. and running through midnight on Saturday, all vehicles headed west on Route 33 will be directed into the Jumping Brook Plaza parking lot at 3701-3705 Route 33.
There, drivers will be screened by Task Force members and Neptune police for sobriety.
On Saturday night in Allenhurst …
Starting at 9 p.m. and running through to a.m. on Sunday, all traffic headed north on Main Street will be directed onto Elberon Avenue.
There, drivers will be screened for sobriety by Allenhurst police and Task Force members.
