The following recent criminal incidents and arrests were reported by Shrewsbury police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.
Criminal Incidents
• There was a report of theft by deception in the area of Marshalls, Broad Street, on Feb. 8. The victim reported that unknown people removed $567 worth of merchandise and returned it.
Patrolman Daniel DeCristofaro is investigating.
• There was a report of criminal mischief in the area of Charles Hembling & Sons, Broad Street, on Feb. 6. The victim reported that someone vandalized the property causing $150 worth of damages.
Patrolman Ryan Cullinane is investigating.
• There was a report of a theft in the area of Blades Run Drive on Feb. 4. The victim reported that $250 worth of property was stolen by an unknown person.

• There was a report of a burglary in the area of Henry Street on Jan. 30. The victim reported that an unknown male attempted to gain entry to their residence.

• There was a report of a burglary from a vehicle in the area of Broad Street on Jan. 28. The victim reported that someone stole $329 worth of property.
Patrolman Ralph Latham is investigating.
Arrests
• Dwight A. Stefanakis, 19, of Eatontown, was arrested on Feb. 3 in the area of Broad Street and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) by Sgt. Tracy Polk.
• Xavier A. Quinones, 19, of Long Branch, was arrested on Feb. 3 in the area of Broad Street and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS) by Sgt. Tracy Polk.
Contempt of Court
• Kelly D. Wheeler, 25, of Eatontown, was arrested in the area of Sycamore Avenue on Feb. 8 on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Joseph Barnicle.
• Peter Delamos, 77, of Tinton Falls, was arrested in the area of Sycamore Avenue on Feb. 7 on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Sgt. Adam Cerminaro.
• Janyah B. Palmer, 20, of Freehold, was arrested in the area of Sycamore Avenue on Feb. 7 on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Sgt. Adam Cerminaro.
• Carlos Melendez-Soto, 30, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on Feb. 4 on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Matthew Clark.
• Harold A. Calero, 24, of Brick, was arrested in the area of Broad Street on Feb. 3 on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Matthew Clark.
• Eufemeo Azcatl, 41, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on Feb. 3 on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Joseph Barnicle.
• Linda Brown, 50, of Asbury Park, was arrested in the area of Sycamore Avenue on Feb. 1 on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Ryan Cullinane.
• Razeem M. Parker, 32, of Asbury Park, was arrested in the area of Broad Street on Jan. 29 on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Ralph Latham.
• Sarah Sauer, 36, of Little Egg Harbor, was arrested in the area of Sycamore Avenue on Jan. 28 on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Mary Ellen Rumola.
