Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School (RFH) graduate, John Dennis Axt, passed away at his home in Tromball, TX on Dec. 27, after a long illness with cancer. He was 68.
Born in Newark, NJ, John grew up in Rumson and graduated from RFH in 1973. He later relocated, worked for 42 years in the real estate industry and retired in 2020.
John is survived by: his wife of 34 years, Nancy (Piecuch) Axt, of Tomball, TX; his daughter, Sandra Axt-Richter, husband Marshall and their son, Jaxson, of Pflugerville, TX; his five siblings, Kate Bertrand, of Tempe, AZ, Susan Bayliss, of Cincinnati, OH, Martha Mortimer, of Spring, TX, Robert Timothy Axt and wife Nora, of Kemah, TX, and Paul Axt and wife Angie, of Lebanon, NH; and several nieces and nephews.
Services are slated for Friday, Feb. 16, at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Cathedral, 166 Pearl St., Manchester, NH 03104. Burial will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, 320 Goffstown Back Rd., Goffstown, N.H.
