Red Bank resident Susan “Suzy” M. Eagan Wynne passed away peacefully on April 24. She was 77.
Suzy was known in the area as a hair stylist for more than 40 years in Red Bank, Rumson and Fair Haven.

“Suzy greatly enjoyed following the lives of all three generations as they grew up. She also enjoyed her trips to Atlantic City and Las Vegas, but her favorite thing was spending time with her husband Bill, a retired U.S. Marine. She and Bill frequented many local piano bars and restaurants and acquired many friends in their 20+ years together.

Born in Radford, VA in 1945, she lived in Monmouth County since 1953. One of six siblings, Suzy was a 1963 graduate of Red Bank Catholic High School and a regular communicant at St. James and St. Anthony’s churches.
In 1993 she married Billy J. (Bill) Wynne and continued to live in Red Bank.
She was predeceased by her husband Billy J. Wynne, her father Henry W. Eagan and mother Miriam Gentel Eagan, her brothers Richard Eagan and Peter Eagan, brother-in-law Peter Cluthe, her stepson Mark Wynne, and step-grandson Jack Wynne.
She is survived by: sisters, Patricia (Eagan) Cluthe and Mary Carol Eagan; brother, Tony Eagan and wife Alexandra; sisters-in-law, Joy and Jean Eagan; stepchildren, Suzanne (Wynne) and Frank Lineen, Jeff and Anita Wynne, and Robert and Amy Wynne; 12 nieces and nephews, their 20 children; and eight step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
Friends and family are welcome to attend visitation at John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank on Friday, April 29, from 9 to 10 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass at St. James Catholic Church, Red Bank at 10:30 a.m.
