In Memoriam: Fair Haven Native, CBA Class of ’98 Grad, Charlie Perrine

Fair Haven native Charlie Perrine, more recently of Shrewsbury, passed away surrounded by his loving family, on Dec. 20, “after fighting a courageous battle with cancer.”

“Charlie was a parishioner of St. George’s-by-the-River Episcopal Church, Rumson, and was a member of the Rumson Country Club. Charlie was an accomplished golfer, whose love of the game was a life-long passion. He enjoyed reading U.S. history, presidential biographies, and the Wall Street Journal. He also enjoyed following and discussing politics, being active outdoors, working on his yard, and building and maintaining life-long friendships. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his wife, Victoria, and two boys, Bobby and JP, especially golfing together at Rumson Country Club (RCC), enjoying RCC Riverhouse dinners, going on road trips, and weekend morning hikes at the Monmouth County Parks.”
