Arrests Nearby: Marijuana, Criminal Mischief & More

The following recent arrests were reported by the Red Bank police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

• Alexander Prasad, 25, of Manalapan, was arrested on March 25 in the area of Alston Court and charged with possession of a CDS (controlled dangerous substance), under 50 grams of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia by Patrolman John Camarca.

• Trey Rasmussen, 23, of Princeton, was arrested on March 22 in the area of Broad Street and charged with disorderly conduct, criminal mischief and resisting arrest by Patrolman Tanner Shea.

• Tara Thurber-Snyder, 34, of Bradley Beach, was arrested on March 20 in the area of Mechanic Street and charged with defiant trespass by Patrolman Ashon Lovick.

The following recent criminal incidents were reported by Red Bank police:

• A incident of criminal mischief was reported to have occurred sometime between March 23 and 24 on an East Front Street building. Someone sprayed graffiti onto the side of the building.

• An attempted burglary was reported to have occurred on March 22 at an Alston Court residence.

The victim reported that someone attempted to gain entry to the home, but failed. Police reported that a screen on a rear window of the residence was cut, and there were pry marks on exterior sliding glass doors and bilco doors leading to the basement. No entry was gained.

• A theft was reported to have occurred at a Locust Avenue residence on March 21. The victim reported that someone gained entry into the residence and stole and iPad.

• A theft was reported to have occurred at a Chapin Avenue location on March 20. The victim reported that an unknown person or persons stole an iPhone, credit card and debit card from a desk area.

• Tara Thurber-Snyder, 34, of Bradley Beach, was arrested on March 20 in the area of Mechanic Street and charged with defiant trespass by Patrolman Ashon Lovick.

• Gilberto Cruz-Hernandez, 30, of Red Bank, was arrested on March 18 in the area of Bridge Avenue and charged with contempt of court by Sgt. Juan Sardo.

Crime Close By: Theft, Criminal Mischief & Burglary

The following recent criminal incidents were reported by Red Bank police:

• There was a report of a burglary at a White Street business on March 16. An unknown person gained entry by prying a door open and reportedly stole approximately $200 in cash. Several coins and the cash register drawer were on the floor at the scene.

• There was a report of criminal mischief March 15 on Newman Springs Road. The victim reported that someone keyed his parked vehicle.

Crime, Arrests Close By: Theft, Heroin Possession & More

The following arrests and incident reports were recently reported by the Red Bank police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

Incident

• An alleged Jan. 31 theft at the Red Bank Train Station was reported on March 8. The victim told police that on Jan. 31, while exiting the train, he left his backpack, containing a mini iPad, a MacBook Pro computer, computer charger and adapter and clothing. The victim said that he had initially notified NJ Transit, but nothing was ever recovered.

Arrests 

• Rahsaan Riddick, 21, of Long Branch, was arrested by Patrolman Benjamin Springer on March 10 in the area of Catherine Street and charged with resisting arrest, obstructing the administration of the law and disorderly conduct.

• Jeffrey Bogart, 40, of Red Bank, was arrested by Patrolman Sean Hauschildt on March 8 in the area of Monmouth Street and charged with: possession of heroin, a controlled dangerous substance (CDS); possession of drug paraphernalia; and resisting arrest.

• Andrew Fitzpatrick, 23, of Shrewsbury, was arrested by Sgt. David Hicks on March 8 in the area of W. Bergen Place and charged with: driving while intoxicated (DWI); possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), under 50 grams of marijuana; and possession of drug paraphernalia.

 

Police: Several Arrested on Contempt of Court Charges

The following recent arrests on contempt of court charges were reported by Red Bank police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

• James Stevens, 51, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Central Avenue by Patrolman Sean Hauschildt on March 11 and charged with contempt of court.

• Keith Maxie, 31, of Tinton Falls, was arrested in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on March 11 and charged with contempt of court by Sgt. Beau Broadley .

• Anthony Aponte, 21, of Red Bank, was arrested on March 10 in the area of Leighton Avenue and charged with contempt of court by Patrolman Ashon Lovick.

• Elizabeth Ramirez-Rosales, 27, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Shrewsbury Avenue on March 3 by Patrolman Jhonatan Quispe and charged with simple assault.

• Robert Fix, 25, of Middletown, was arrested in the area of West Front Street on March 1 by Patrolman Benjamin Springer and charged with disorderly conduct.

• Perry Veney, 28, of Red Bank, was arrested by Sgt. Juan Sardo on Feb. 19 in the area of Monmouth Street and charged with contempt of court.

•  A 17-year-old male juvenile, of Red Bank, was arrested by Patrolman Nicholas Maletto on Feb. 22 and charged with possession of a CDS (controlled dangerous substance), under 50 grams of marijuana.

• Vincent Oliva, 22, of Tinton Falls, was arrested on Feb. 21 by Patrolman Stan Balmer in the area of W. Front Street and charged with disorderly conduct.

• Marcus Mandeville, 23, of Matawan, was arrested on Feb. 21 in the area of W. Front Street by Patrolman Nicholas Maletto and charged with disorderly conduct.

• Eduardo Aparicio-Peno, 22, of Red Bank, was arrested on Feb. 21 in the area of Cedar Street by Inv. Paul Perez and charged with criminal sexual contact, endangering the welfare of a child and contempt of court.

• Lori Costello, 43, of Red Bank, was arrested on a contempt of court charge on Feb. 18 by Patrolman Benjamin Springer in the area of Spring Street.

• Maximo Sanchez-Gonzalez, 19, of Red Bank, was arrested on a contempt of court charge on Feb. 18 by Patrolman Shane Dengel in the area of Leonard Street.

• Felicito Bautista-Barrios, 36, of Long Branch, was arrested on a contempt of court charge by Patrolman Thomas Doreumus on Feb. 17 in the area of Mechanic Street.

• Gregorio Rojas-Tlapanco, 35, of Red Bank, was arrested in the area of Monmouth Street on Feb. 17 and charged with hindering apprehension and contempt of court by Patrolman Jhonatan Quispe.

The following recent criminal incidents were reported by Red Bank police:

• A robbery on West Bergen Place was reported to have occurred on Feb. 13. An unknown male displayed a handgun, stole cash and a cell phone and fled on foot.

• An incident of criminal mischief was reported to have occurred sometime between Feb. 12 and 13 at a West Front Street church. Three spotlights were knocked off a post and broken.

• An incident of criminal mischief was reported to have occurred on Feb. 15. Someone spray painted graffiti in black paint on a vehicle parked on Locust Avenue.

• The theft of an iPhone from the restroom of a grocery store on Broad Street was reported on Feb. 5.

• An incident of criminal mischief was reported on Feb. 9 to have occurred sometime in the past week at a Fisher Place residence. The victim reported that the screen on her window had been cut.

• An incident of criminal mischief was reported to have occurred on Feb. 9 at a Branch Avenue residence. The victim reported that a glass window was broken.
