The following recent incidents of theft and criminal mischief were reported by Red Bank police:

• A theft was reported to have occurred on Maple Avenue on May 27. The victim reported that someone stole his wallet, containing cash and credit cards, from a gym locker.

• A theft was reported to have occurred on May 27 on Harding Road. The victim reported that someone stole an iPhone, gold earrings, an HP Tablet and a Garmin GPS unit from a parked car.

• A theft was reported to have occurred at a Locust Avenue apartment on May 30. The victim reported that someone entered the apartment and stole an iPhone.

The following recent criminal incidents were reported by Red Bank police:

• A theft was reported to have occurred at a Riverside Avenue hotel on May 18. The victim reported that she had checked a Marc Jacobs diaper bag, containing credit cards (etc.) at the front desk of the hotel and upon retrieval it was missing.

• A robbery was reported to have occurred on May 17 at a Shrewsbury Avenue residence. The victim said that she heard a loud bang on the front door. Upon answering the door, the perpetrator grabbed her, punched her in the face, stole her iPhone and then fled the area.

• An incident of criminal mischief was reported to have occurred on May 16 on East Newman Springs Road. The victim reported that an unknown person keyed the side of a parked vehicle with a sharp object.

• A theft was reported to have occurred at a Monmouth Street parking lot on May 15. The victim reported that someone cut the lock on a bicycle which was secured to a pole and stole it. The bicycle is described as a grey Schwinn Mountain Bike.

• A theft was reported to have occurred on May 13 at the Bridge Avenue parking lot. The victim reported that someone entered a parked vehicle and stole a duffle bag containing clothing and prescription pills.

• A theft was reported to have occurred at a Carmen Place residence on May 7. The victim reported that someone stole cash from the bedroom dresser.

The following recent criminal incidents were reported by Red Bank police:

• A theft was reported to have occurred sometime between April 29 and May 4 at a Riverside Avenue apartment. The victim reported jewelry — a gold ring with diamonds and amethyst and a gold bracelet — missing from a night stand.

• An incident of criminal mischief on Newman Springs Road was reported on May 4. The victim reported that someone scratched his parked vehicle on the entire length of the passenger side.

• Theft was reported on May 6 to have occurred within the past two months at a Riverside Avenue Apartment. The victim reported that someone stole a jewelry box, containing several pieces of jewelry valued at several thousands of dollars, from a bedroom closet.

• An incident of criminal mischief — graffiti deployed onto a fence surrounding property — was reported to have occurred on May 6 at a Reckless Place residence.

Police: Patient Flees Hospital with Heart Monitor in Tow

The following recent criminal incidents were reported by Red Bank police:

• An incident of criminal mischief — air let out of tires on a parked vehicle Montgomery Terrace — was reported on April 24.

• A theft was reported to have occurred at a Tower Hill Drive residence sometime between April 23 and 25. The victim reported that someone stole cash and a pair of gold and diamond earrings from the residence.

Patrolman Shane Dengel took the report.

• A theft was reported to have occurred at Riverview (Medical Center) Plaza on April 25. Staff of the hospital reported that a patient who left from the Emergency Room took a heart monitor, valued at $3,000, and never returned.

• A theft was reported to have occurred at a McLaren Street residence. The victim reported that an unknown person, within the past few weeks, stole a bicycle, circular saw and Craftsman tool box with tools in it from the garage.

The following recent arrest and incidents were reported by Red Bank police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

Arrest

• Linda Vicinio, 50, of Freehold, was arrested on April 11 in the area of Hudson Avenue and charged with DWI (driving while intoxicated) by Patrolman Stanley Balmer.

Incidents

• The theft of medication was reported on April 14 to have occurred sometime between April 3 (when the medication was last seen) and 14.

• An incident of criminal mischief was reported to have occurred at the Morford Place parking lot on April 11. The victims reported that an unknown person or persons scratched a parked vehicle around its entire length.

The following recent criminal incidents were reported by the Red Bank police:

• An April 4 theft from a Broad Street restaurant was reported on April 8. The victim reported that someone stole her wallet, containing, cash and credit cards, from her purse while at the establishment.

• A recurring theft at a Maple Avenue delicatessen was reported on April 6. The owner reported that in the past two weeks an unknown person or persons in a white van has pulled up to the deli between the hours of 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. and stolen bread from the bread box outside of the restaurant. The incidents were captured on video tape.

• An incident of criminal mischief was reported to have occurred sometime between March 30 and 31 at a Monmouth Street business. The business owner reported that an unknown person or persons tampered with the locking mechanism on the front door. No entry was gained.

Arrests Nearby: Marijuana, Criminal Mischief & More

The following recent arrests were reported by the Red Bank police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

• Alexander Prasad, 25, of Manalapan, was arrested on March 25 in the area of Alston Court and charged with possession of a CDS (controlled dangerous substance), under 50 grams of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia by Patrolman John Camarca.

• Trey Rasmussen, 23, of Princeton, was arrested on March 22 in the area of Broad Street and charged with disorderly conduct, criminal mischief and resisting arrest by Patrolman Tanner Shea.

• Tara Thurber-Snyder, 34, of Bradley Beach, was arrested on March 20 in the area of Mechanic Street and charged with defiant trespass by Patrolman Ashon Lovick.

The following recent criminal incidents were reported by Red Bank police:

• A incident of criminal mischief was reported to have occurred sometime between March 23 and 24 on an East Front Street building. Someone sprayed graffiti onto the side of the building.

• An attempted burglary was reported to have occurred on March 22 at an Alston Court residence.

The victim reported that someone attempted to gain entry to the home, but failed. Police reported that a screen on a rear window of the residence was cut, and there were pry marks on exterior sliding glass doors and bilco doors leading to the basement. No entry was gained.

• A theft was reported to have occurred at a Locust Avenue residence on March 21. The victim reported that someone gained entry into the residence and stole and iPad.

• A theft was reported to have occurred at a Chapin Avenue location on March 20. The victim reported that an unknown person or persons stole an iPhone, credit card and debit card from a desk area.

The following recent criminal incidents were reported by Red Bank police:

• There was a report of a burglary at a White Street business on March 16. An unknown person gained entry by prying a door open and reportedly stole approximately $200 in cash. Several coins and the cash register drawer were on the floor at the scene.

• There was a report of criminal mischief March 15 on Newman Springs Road. The victim reported that someone keyed his parked vehicle.

Fair Haven Police Beat: Fugitive from Justice Arrested, $100K Bail

Fair Haven police reported the following incidents and arrests for the month of February. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

Arrests

• Sheikh Bilal, 50, of Jersey City, was arrested on Feb. 10 following a motor vehicle stop when an active full extradition warrant out of Louisiana was found to be on file.

The Louisiana warrant was based on charges that included two felony counts of worthless checks. Bilal was charged with being a fugitive from justice.

The arrest was made by Special Officer Brooks Robinson. Bail was set at $100,000 with no 10 percent option.

Bilal was transported to Monmouth County Correctional Institution in Freehold to await extradition to Louisiana to face his previous charges (according to the warrant).

• Garry Vandemark II, 32, of Atlantic Highlands was arrested following a motor vehicle stop on Feb. 6 and charged with driving while suspended, unlawful possession of a weapon and obstruction by Special Officer Brooks Robinson.

He was released pending a Fair Haven court appearance.

• Ryan Marchese, of Red Bank, was arrested on Feb. 28 following a traffic stop on an active warrant out of Middletown for his arrest.

He was released after posting bail. Special Officer Brooks Robinson made the arrest.

Incidents

• A Linden Drive resident reported on Feb. 6 that someone had filed a fraudulent 2014 tax return in his name.

Patrolman John Koetzner is investigating.

• A River Road business reported on Feb. 9 that someone had broken a window in the front of her store.

Cpl. John Waltz took the criminal mischief report.

• A Gillespie Avenue resident reported on Feb. 11 that they had video surveillance of an unknown male trespassing on their property.

Detective Stephen Schneider investigated and identified the trespasser as a juvenile.

The case has been forwarded to Juvenile Officer Patrolman William Lagrotteria for review.

• A Highland Avenue resident reported on Feb. 16 that someone attempted to file a fraudulent tax return in her name.

Detective Stephen Schneider took the report and is investigating.

• An Oxford Avenue resident reported on Feb. 24 that there were fraudulent charges on her debit card.

Patrolman Dwayne Reevey took the report and is investigating.
