The following June criminal incidents were reported by Rumson police.
• Patrolman James Camilleri on June 26 reported a vandalized street sign on Shrewsbury Drive and racist graffiti on a tree in the area. DPW responded to remove the graffiti.
• A Conover Lane resident on June 24 reported their BMW X5 had been stolen from the driveway overnight.

• Patrols responded to the area of Rumson Road and Kemp Avenue on June 21 on a report of a loud party. Large groups of juveniles with alcohol and numerous vehicles were found in the area.
Maureen Hackett, 58, of Rumson, was subsequently issued a summons for maintaining a nuisance.
• A Buena Vista Avenue resident reported on June 17 that someone had broken the glass backboard on their basketball hoop.

• A Fair Haven resident reported on June 10 that while walking in Meadow Ridge Park, an unknown person/people had broken her car window and stolen her purse.
Patrolman Stephanie Lehner took the report.
• Patrols responded to the area of Brookside Drive and Post Road on June 9 for a report of a loud party in the area. They encountered a large groups of juveniles and observed discarded alcohol containers in the street and on other properties.
Jose Vargas, 51, of Rumson was subsequently issued a summons for maintaining a nuisance.
• A bench in Victory Park on June 9 was found to have racist graffiti. DPW removed the graffiti.

• A Willowbrook Lane resident on June 3 reported vandalism to an electrical box, a flagpole and a street sign in the area of Hill Pond Lane.
