The following February and March arrests were made and reported by Rumson police. An arrest does not constitute a conviction.

• A 16-year-old male juvenile from Fair Haven was arrested by Special Officer Michael Berger on Feb. 13 and charged with underage possession of alcohol after patrols responded to the area of Elm Lane on reports of a large party. The juvenile was released to a parent.

• A 16-year-old male juvenile from Little Silver was arrested on Feb. 19 by Special Officer Michael Berger and charged with  underage possession of alcohol after patrols responded to the area of Lafayette Street on reports of a large party. The juvenile was released to a parent.

• Keith Brooks, 28, of Red Bank, was arrested on March 6 by Special Officer Donald Morse and charged with criminal mischief after patrols responded to the area of Center Street and Ward Lane on reports of screaming in the roadway. Brooks was released pending a court date.

• Byron Swiss, 46, of Rumson, was arrested on March 6 by Patrolman Cody Lovgren and charged with simple assault. Swiss was released pending a court date.

• Miguel Ochoa, 31, of Long Beach, NY, was arrested on March 8 by Patrolman Grace Maggiulli and charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Ochoa was released pending a court date.

• Jennifer Vandright, 43, of Atlantic Highlands, was on March 13 by Patrolman Bryan Dougherty and charged with driving under the influence (DUI). She was released pending a court date.

 • Douglas Ruby, 23, of Matawan, was arrested on March 13 by Patrolman Grace Maggiulli and charged with driving under the influence (DUI). He was released pending a court date.

Contempt of Court

• William Kinney, 37, of Rumson, was arrested on March 21 by Special Officer Michael Berger on a contempt of court (COC) warrant. Kinney was released after posting $300 bail.

• Dagen Pierce, 34, of Allenhurst, was arrested on March 22 by Patrolman Donald Schneider on a contempt of court (COC) warrant. He was released after posting $164 bail.

• Nikki Seeman, 23, of Eatontown, was arrested by Patrolman Cody Lovgren on a contempt of court (COC) warrant. She was released after posting $340 bail.

• Timothy Smith, 41, of Middletown, was arrested on Feb. 5 on a contempt of court (COC) warrant by Patrolman Robert Boyer. He was released after posting $391 bail.

• Ryan Brown, 19, of the Belford section of Middletown, was arrested on Feb. 28 by Special Officer Michael Berger on a contempt of court (COC) warrant. Brown was released after posting $164 bail.
